Huffpost: From international pal to Twitter challenger, French President Emmanuel Macron has tweeted a sharp warning to U.S. President Donald Trump over tariffs ahead of the G7 summit in Quebec this weekend.

Trump fired back — and the White House quickly announced that he’s leaving the summit early Saturday before sessions on climate change and the environment.

Leaders are reportedly considering excluding the U.S. from the traditional joint statement issued each year at the end of the G7 summit as a rebuke for Trump’s punishing tariffs against the American allies.

The “American president” doesn’t seem to “mind being isolated,” Macron tweeted Thursday. But “neither do we mind signing a 6 country agreement if need be.” The remaining countries “represent values” and a “true international market force,” he added.

Meanwhile, China's President Xi and Russian President Putin are meeting and dividing up the world, so not to step on each other's toes, now that trump has isolated the US.

All they need is a Pope to work out the wrinkles, like Alexander the 6th did with Portugal & Spain.

NYT: G6 + 1:

President Trump is scheduled to arrive in Quebec this morning for the annual summit meeting of the Group of 7 leaders, and the anger over his decision to impose tariffs is palpable.
On Thursday, President Emmanuel Macron of France and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada lashed out at Mr. Trump for imposing tariffs on their steel and aluminum.
“Please tell Prime Minister Trudeau and President Macron that they are charging the U.S. massive tariffs and create non-monetary barriers,” Mr. Trump responded on Twitter. We checked some of his numbers.
Mr. Trump will skip most of the second day and head for Singapore for his high-stakes meeting next week with North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong-un. Mr. Trump predicted that his decision to abandon the nuclear deal with Iran would result in a successful negotiation with Mr. Kim.

Trudeau sent some Mounties & an RCAF Group Captain(Colonel) to meet trump, when he landed. No head of state... and will probably let the air out of AF-1's tires when no one is looking.
