What Are Republicans Afraid Of?

Catherine Rampell: “It’s almost funny, in a twisted sort of way. Election after election, Republicans have based their core political appeal on fear.”

“And yet — as dual gun massacres this weekend starkly illustrate — they refuse to offer solutions to any of the mortal threats Americans actually face.”

Whatever they are told to be afraid of.  And when your whole life centers around Fox News, that's a lot.

You guys laughed about it, but Obama's slogan was "hope."  The exact opposite of the Republicans, whose slogan is "fear."

That is such a lie! It is demo-rats that fuel hatred and separation. Seems to me racial harmony was a lot better before BO put everyone at odds. Be good for you to review the history of the demo-rat party, maybe you will be enlightened. One example, guess who passed The Civil Rights Act?

Obama put everyone at odds? That's some high-powered projection you're spewing.

A coalition of Democrats and northern Republicans.

Yeah, having a black guy in power does tend to rouse the racist rabble.

And everyone knows the opposite side of the wooden nickel still has the same value as the first side.

It did start with him. A lot of people saw his association with the likes of Rev. Wright and the way he spoke. It brought out the fear that had been slowly dying its due social death.

But Obama had nothing on ramping up a bad situation to what it is today thanks to his uncontrolled mouth and free running peanut brain.
