Luckily you don{t need a legally binding accusation to impeach. Congress just has to agree that the presidents sins are too great to accept, and vote for impeachment. JUst as Clinton did very little, but a republican congress witch hunted him in impeachment hearings.

The political landscape has changed with the Ukraine mess.  Before that, it was so murky that Joe and Mary probably didn't understand much of it, but now that things are coming into focus, people understand the gravity of Trump's actions.  And with the Gang That Couldn't Lie Straight continuing to lurch around and point at each other, they look worse all the time.  So yeah, what once was radioactive is now acceptable.

"Everyone knows that Trump collaborated with the Russians to win an election, and it turns out- has tried to do it again with the Ukranians and the Australians."

First off not everyone knows that. A large part of the population does not believe it. If it was known and provable DT would already be out of office. No hard evidence of the claim has been found. So as it stands it is just supposition, true or not.

"He reallycould be impeached on the Emoluments clause as well as corruption, not to mention obstruction of justice.  The Pubs are stopping all of it."

Then present the hard evidence. All these claims and no hard evidence.

True but that is like getting a ticket for speeding when you do not own nor were driving a car. You can be issued a ticket but it will be thrown out of court. Why do you thin kPelosi has been taking so long to bring impeachment in to the picture? The dems do not want a fiasco like the pubs had with BC.

"Congress just has to agree that the presidents sins are too great to accept, and vote for impeachment. JUst as Clinton did very little, but a republican congress witch hunted him in impeachment hearings."

And in the end what use was that impeachment?

Why go through another unwinnable effort?

Because she cares more about politics than the law.  In one sense, I see where she's coming from but any time you ignore wrongdoing until you can find enough politicians with spines, you are the one who looks bad.

You really think the masses should be trusted with making an impeachment and removal decision of a President? Not me. They can though do it at election time. It does not require any weighing of evidence.

Enforcing the law means having irrefutable evidence.

It is not a matter of finding politicians with spines. They all lack them and play for their own benefit. And if they are going to accuse a sitting President of High Crimes and Misdemeanors they had better make sure they have the hard evidence. And Pelosi knows it and knows what they have. And I would bet she does not think it is sufficient to turn the pub senate. The dems showed how impeachment can be stopped with Clinton and the pubs will do the same for tRUMP unless it can be definitively proven tRUMP did illegal things.

Do you really think if Pelosi had the proper evidence she would not go after tRUMP?
