The broadcast networks chose to tune out for the evening news. And MSNBC and CNN both made the decision to also tune out. Fox, however, carried it in full...

CNN and MSNBC fire back after White House slams decision

White House spokesman Judd Deere knocked CNN and MSNBC for tuning out, referring to the decision as "disgraceful" and lavishing praise on Fox for streaming the whole thing. A CNN spox fired back, “If the White House wants to ask for time on the network, they should make an official request. Otherwise we will make our own editorial decisions.” An MSNBC spox told me the network cut away because the information at the briefing no longer appeared to add value to the discussion on public health.

What Trump really wants is for himself to be on 24/7, like the Truman show.

He's trying to  turn those press briefings into rallies. I don't think they're having the effect he thinks they'll have.

He only checks with people inside the bubble.  They probably love all the insults to the media, false promises and of course seeing the Dear Leader's face for 90 minutes or so.  The rest of us, not so much.

Yep. He went for a laugh with his comment about Romney self-quarantining, and didn't get it.

MSNBC stuck with yesterday's presser way too long. Nobody needs an hour and a half of random babbling.
