Code of Conduct:

1. Respect and courtesy - All A Rainbow of Spirituality Members are entitled to express their views and beliefs in a safe environment without feeling attacked. Members may not infringe on the rights of any other person to express themselves in a safe environment. This policy includes:
   1. Any harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, hateful, or otherwise objectionable posts.
   2. Any posts which are invasive of another's privacy.
   3. Name calling or otherwise attacking the person posting rather than the content of the post. Disagreement is encouraged, but you should only comment on the argument or position taken, never against the person posting their opinion or belief.
   4. Any racial or ethnic slurs or insults relating to the mental, physical or intellectual qualities of any member.
   
   
2. Vulgarity - All members agree to not post text or images that are vulgar, obscene, or graphically violent. 
   
   
3. Violent action - No member may use our forum or chat to advocate violence against others, even in jest.
   
   
4. Illegal activities - No member may use our services to promote illegal actions or to instigate illegal activity from other  members.
   
   
5. 'Hate messages' - No member may post 'hate' messages. This includes any messages that may incite violence toward someone because of their age, disability, gender, ethnicity, race, nationality, religion, or sexual orientation, including:
   
   1. Advocating violence or aggression against persons because they are a member of any of the above categories.
   2. Implying or stating that members of one of these categories 'deserve' or 'earned' death or violence towards them.
   3. Degrading or insulting whole classes of people, or using such statements to justify actions taken against them.
   
   
6. Privacy - No member may use our forum or chat to collect personal information about other members, or to post such information for others to view. This includes telephone numbers, addresses, etc.
   
   
7. Stalking - No member may stalk or otherwise harass others on our forum or chat. l
   
   
8. Copyrights - No  member should post information or content which infringes on a copyright, patent trademark or other proprietary right of another party.
   
   
9. Disruptive posts - No member may disrupt the topic discussions by posting repeatedly with the same information or by otherwise preventing the use of these discussions by other members.
10. Any members who find that they can not adhere to the above will find themselves banned from the forum and chat for an indefinate period of time.

Why, thank you, Sam!  Do rest assured that I am here daily... without exception... even when I was bed ridden with the flu, hehe... I read each and every post, and one never knows when I drop in chat... I could be one of many names... :)  These "rules" will be enforced here... on all levels... It has created friction, no doubt... but I thrive on friction when it comes to protecting those that the Goddess has allowed to cross my Path... and blessed me with.. :)

Very true words, Sam! :)  It is sad to have to post rules like that, and I did not do so until about six months ago... It was not from a situation here, however, I wanted to head off what I saw forecoming.... and it seemed to work... :)
