Bel was a lovely mare....in every way. She will be missed.

She and best friend Arcy are together again. I am sure that Arcy was there to greet her and bring her into her heavenly paddock.

God bless you, Bel. You had the best life possible when you came to the Haven and Jeanne.

Jeanne - I am so sorry for your loss.

Steve, are you and Kayla on Facebook?  If so, please go to Our Mims Retirement Haven and like The Ladies' page!  Jeanne will definitely see your message over there!  It's great to know that you have one of Iza's granddaughters!  Iza was a Beloved Lady and Jeanne could tell you all about this special mare!  Thanks for stopping by!

For those not on FB:

Elmhurst is tucked into a stall at Park Equine Hospital in Paris, Ky.
He is being treated with IV antibiotics and a nebulizer to open his bronchial tubes.
We are hoping that with the additional antibiotics and breathing treatments, we can knock this out of him.
Considering his age of 27 years old and how sick he is anything could happen at this point but his prognosis is good. Just have to find the right combination of meds.
He is in good hands.
He will likely be in there for a couple days, at least.
