Nominations for what most likely will be Frankel's last race are in

Frankel leads Champions entry

Superstar could be making final track appearance

Frankel is one of 46 entries in the Qipco Champions Stakes on Champions Day at Ascot on October 20 in what is expected to be his last appearance on a racetrack.

Sir Henry Cecil's unbeaten superstar is due to step up to 10 furlongs for his next race at York in the Juddmonte International later this month after having achieved all that is possible over a mile.

I think they are planning 3 more races for him. The first one is August 22 and his first attempt at 1 1/4 miles. Here is the link to the entries, but not all of these horse will run. They must declare I think 3 days before the race.

O'Brien is confident, but honestly I think it is Frankel all the way.

Trainer Aidan O ’Brien is relishing a clash with Frankel when he sends St Nicholas Abbey to the Juddmonte International

Yes, final declarations have to be made 48 hours before the race. And that is also when the draw is made.
