A soft tissue injury, either a tendon or Suspensory is harder to rehab and recover from than broken bones. It would likely be a total of six months starting with stall rest, then hand walk then turnout before finally starting back to being ridden. You always have to be diligent with them afterwards as they can flare up at a moment’s notice.

I look forward to seeing her babies but I am sad no more racing I think she could have been a great race mare.
