Jeanne from Our Mims has passed away, now with the ladies who went before her.:(.  My condolences to her family, friends and connections. Rest In Peace wonderful lady, you will be missed.:(

I know.  I've shed some tears this evening at the news.  She was a hero.  A wonderful person.  Her journey was just meant to take her where it did.  To Our Mims and the mares.

I was so saddened and shocked to see the article in Bloodhorse yesterday of the passing of Jeanne Mirabito.  Her love for her ladies and the care of them was outstanding.

 

A few years ago I was able to visit Our Mims when the FOB’s were gathering in KY in April and it was wonderful.   I’m hoping to visit KY again after this blasted pandemic is through (hoping) and would so like to visit the ladies again.

Jeanne may you rest in peace with the ladies of your heavenly herd.  My condolences to her family and friends.

Sad news out of Ellis Park.  The promising 2 yr old Liberty Run, by Runhappy and owned by Mattress Msck, was euthanized after going wrong in the stretch in a race today.

Oh no! They didn’t show horses behind the top finishers and I didn’t hear anything from those on tv. :(. My condolences to all his connections especially Laura, Mack and his groom. So sad, the part I hate in this game.

So sad for Libertyrun today.  I saw the chart which indicated  "went wrong, vanned off"  but that was all I knew.  Thank  you for letting us know the outcome.  I was really praying that she would pull through.  How ironic that she was running in the Runhappy Juvenile Stakes.  My heart goes out to Laura, Mac and all who mourn her loss.

RIP Lady C, my condolences to her connections

equine incident database, Lady C was euthanized after being vanned off with left hind leg injury in the 3rd. First equine racing death of the meet, Day 24. RIP Lady C!
