I watched that race but did not see the poor girl go down. I just knew it as going to be bad and I searched hi and low to find out what happened to her, with her pretty name, Perfect Senorita--- it is so heart breaking, these fatal breakdowns.  It is also sad because she isn't a horse that anybody really knows about, so sad to say, not many people care--- but I feel somebody loved her, bred her, named her and trained her and now all of that is gone, and she is gone. Just too sad.

1h • © Yesterday was one of the greatest days when Nobody Listens won the Grade 3 Monster at Parx. Today was one of the worst. Nobody Listens had an unforeseen and unpreventable trailer incident resulting in us losing him. We
love and cherish every moment that we shared with him. The ride Nobody Listens took us on was the greatest one we have ever been on. Our hearts are broken as we share this tragic news. Thank you to all who supported and
helped make him who he was.

Wonder what caused this.  I remember the bad reputation Jacobson had for some yrs. Then moved to CA and didn't do very well at the races and retired ,claiming it was family related or something like that.  Was surprised when he moved back east.  The commentators speak very nicely about him since his return.  Googling will bring up some drug overages and a terrible cruelty case where he wasn't feeding a horse.  I found it just now since I couldn't remember much about it.  Other trainers and backstretch workers were feeding and watering this horse.  Awful.

It could be just an aortic bleed out, or another physical issue that goes unexplained.
