Interesting. I feel like if they are going to be that strict about it, they ought to take it away completely - but in the same sense, the whip is often more used as an aid - jockeys don't have the ability to use their legs to tell horses to stop moving to the left/right or to straighten out - it is all done by hand - so the whip can help a horse that is not very good at listening to the hand aids (If that makes sense?) Thank you for the information :-)

Nice race! Very good turn of foot! I like that Street Cry filly too, will have to keep an eye on how she continues doing :-)

Oh what an exciting finish! Happy for Danedream - sad that Deep Brilliante was not brilliant on this day but there will be others, this was the filly's day, she got Nathaniel who ran a really nice race in the King George.

The Queen's Estimate to bid for glorious follow-up

O'Brien plays it safe with 11 entries in the St Leger
AIDAN O'BRIEN may have red-hot favourite Camelot entered in the Ladbrokes St Leger but he is taking no chances in his bid to become the first trainer to complete a clean sweep of British Classics as he is responsible for almost a third of the 36 entries.
