I was just going to post this article!!! Oh my- Mr. Gosden apparently remains very angry about that horrid ride on Stradivarius, and I do not blame him one bit. I am however, shocked he seems to be replacing Dettori, at least for now. Honestly, I could not believe a jockey of Dettori's reputation and talent, gave Stradivarius such a horrible ride.

I’m thinking Dettori may have wrongly considered what the pace might be and placed him in the incorrect position for Stradivarius to be able to catch up. The English hosts on TVG sounded very shocked after hearing The trainer’s words directly afterwards, they knew he was angry.

I think what made Gosden angrier was Dettori making excuses and not owning a poor
ride or poor judgment---I recall Dettori saying something like Stradivarius lost to a younger
horse --- implying Strad !ost a step or two--- All you ask of a jockey is to put a horse in a position
to have a chance to win
