More on Calumet and I like what I'm reading. And I wonder if they'll move English Channel from Lanes End to Calumet.

These moves do not suggest someone who is looking either for profits in the sale ring or a quick return on investment at the track. What they do suggest is that Kelley is serious about breeding horses that can recapture Calumet's glory days in the mid-20th century. And that means horses with the stamina, soundness, and speed to capture Triple Crown races, the top weight-for-age races, and major handicaps.

Well this isn't much notice.....I just got it in my mail today.
Open House to Meet Shackleford and the rest of the Darby Dan stallions:
Grade 1 winners Shackleford and Jersey Town have officially been retired from racing and have arrived at Darby Dan Farm to take up residence. Both new stallions will be available immediately to breeders for inspection, and Darby Dan will host an Open House on Tuesday, Dec. 4 from 10 am to 3pm featuring the entire 2013 roster of stallions.

Henny Hughes , a leader on the 2-year-old sires' list this year, will stand the 2013 breeding season at Walmac Farm near Lexington under a lease arrangement for a fee of $7,500 stands and nurses.
