I am happy reading that Shadwell will continue US breeding keeping Mohaymen in KY (though smaller than in the past). I hope the two regional stallions have success!
The farm is sending Tamarkuz to Louisiana and Qurbaan to Indiana, where it hopes the promising young sires will attract more mares. Freshman sire Mohaymen will stay in Kentucky.

Why do you think it has taken so long for him to get such quality foals? Was it his temperament early on?

I think a combination of things.
His pedigree has some unknown horses since his dam’s side has a fair amount of Southern Hemisphere bloodlines.
He didn’t win over 9 furlongs. His antics during the BC was not his last race he raced as a 4 year old and won some nice Group 1 races.
I am not sure Lanes End was pushing him as a top stallion in the beginning, look at Curlin he didn’t take off till he moved to Hill n’Dale.
