This is a really nice story about a small breeder and their filly Bella Dona! I hope she keeps on winning and maybe she will race against stiffer competition!

Missing a month at the beginning is not a good start. But glad the farm is taking care of him.
A "non-threatening condition" has delayed the start of the three-time group 1 winner's stud career at Sumbe's Haras de Montfort et Preaux. The farm reported the stallion does require stall rest but the condition does not threaten his stud career.

I guess they don't want to reveal the condition that is delaying the horse performing stud duties: I would think they would have to advise potential clients though, wouldn't you think so?- they don't have to reveal that condition to the public.

The last paragraph mentions benign pathology so perhaps a lump that was removed? If that was in or on his abdomen then mounting mares would not be good.
