Had to really scroll down for Lentenor thread.  At Ind. Grand just now, April's No Fool (4-F), a large chestnut filly, won a MSW and looked so good doing it.  She put her head down and went right on thru the wire!  Another Lentenor, Princess Lenny, finished further back, but don't know where yet.  Will wait for chart to come thru.

Hope you are all doing well.

Hi,  Last time I tried to put Stosh in my stable, long ago, it would not register.  But, he is running today at Fairmount in the 3rd race.  MSW for 3 yr. and up.  Hope he does well.

Thanks! I’ve added him and will watch. My cousin’s name is Stanley and everyone called him Stosh, we’re Polish so must be the nickname used?

You are welcome!  Always good to find a new colt or filly to follow.  Hope he does well.

Speaking of doing well, was good to see Tacitus and Instilled Regard win Graded Stakes Sat.  And Vekoma with his egg-beater running style  ( in dogs that's what we call it;  I had one which gaited that way if she was not gaited at the correct speed!),  I do love Code of Honor, tho.

btw, if you like La Cloche, her son is running  in the 6th at Fairmount.  Tap Fever has not done much at all in his career, unlike the great Bellavais.  I follow the Phillips/Darby Dan horses but see that Tap Fever was bred by Don Alberto.

Yes on Tacitus, Vekoma- does he have a 4 beat canter( gallop) and why it looks that way?

I’ll catch Tap Fever tonight- thanks!

I don't see how that would throw his left front into a circular motion, but perhaps someone else will weigh in on that.  George Weaver said today in Byk's radio program that he never showed any indication of this motion until he was in training.  As a youngster on, he always moved straight at you.  I think he said he wondered if it could be something muscular  (altho with all the disruptions during the program, I might have missed something in this conversation).  Should have listened more carefully, sorry!

I forgot to mention earlier that Nicamore is scheduled to run at Mountaineer tonight in the 3rd.  $4,000 claimer.  Hasn't run since January and was 9th.  Guess we'll see how he is doing now.

Thanks about Vekoma’s gait.

Yes I got the Nicamore notice so will be watching that as well.

Looks like the light bulb went on for Tap Fever, awful start but came blazing up the stretch! Not so good races for Stosh or Nicamore today though.

Oh well, perhaps another day for Stosh.  Not so sure about Nicamore;  his last few races have not been so good.

Nicamore did end up 5th, 13/4 back, he was starting to move. I think they’re still working on Stosh’s light bulb as he did move up to 7th from last.
