Should have mentioned that Duck, Ducky, Goose got up for a close 2nd at Parx yesterday.  Muddy track.  He still has not broken his maiden in about 20 races as a 5  yr. gelding.  Guess we'll see.

Kids haven’t done so well lately, some are just coming back after layoffs.

I think we were discussing The Lieutenant before? There was a daughter of his that won at Gulfstream on Saturday(r3)- Forces Sweetheart. Did you catch it?

Watched it later, along with a win by Vacation Dance.  Two first in a day is really nice.  I am following his kids somewhat, not like I do some of my others, but still....

Wish he had been given a better chance in US before being sent away.  Always hard on siblings who are as dazzling as Justify is.  But any son of Stage Magic is worthwhile, I think.

tomorrow:  Tampa.  Water Fight, daughter of Small Rebellion runs in $32,000 claiming race for 2 yr. fillies.  On turf.  Time:  12:59 (race 2).  Owned by Lael.

Water Fight was very brave.  In the lead, passed in stretch, dug in and almost got back up to win.  Came in 2nd.

Yes I watched!!! She did good!!! Wasn’t claimed either!

Woohoo!!! Duck Ducky Goose finally breaks his maiden at Parx today! A true Christmas Miracle!!

Have been trying to respond since I got your message and forum would not accept my password.  So, eventually I had to start at square one with a newly assigned password and I got on.  Seems that if I do not comment after a few days I must start from scratch each time.  Annoying!

So happy for Ducky, finally!  Guess it was Ken Rudulph I overheard saying it had been 0 for 22 til today!  Such a long haul.  Celebrations everywhere for Ducky.
