I do not understand Oaklawn’s cancellation of the entire weekend. The weather is supposed to be nice all weekend. Unless they thought the track would be too wet from the rain, ice and snow.

Turf would most likely have damage with frost

Then run those as off turf

The freeze could affect the dirt track as well, like SA.
