One Vet says the 30 BC vets missed scratching MG due to lameness, and they are pushing the demise of horseracing;

Darn it...it was bad enough we all were holding our breaths for the BC races to be completed safely...then the breakdown.
For the casual horse racing fan and what apparently happened according to this article, I fear the end of horse racing could come, at least in California.

I forgot as well and have been reading all the great sections in the Blood Horse Breeders' Cup Issue... read about it in BH. Belvoir Bay...a brave lady!

I was reading this last night.
Pretty harsh. I'm not sure what to think. Some horses were scratched that seemed okay, and this one got a pass but a lot of people thought he looked off.
