This was just an attempt by his attorneys. I think they figured they had a 25% chance to go their way. They are setting up for the hearing and beyond.

I'm sorry I have to take issue with the NYRA attorney's description of Bob Baffert -that description applies more to Jason Servis and Narvarro. If you didn't know better you would think Baffert doped his horses AND HE DID NOT. I fault Baffert for running a sloppy operation: he should have exerted more control over what medications were being utilized in his barn. There is just so much hate directed his way by so many. I do see jealousy of Baffert and I would imagine there are trainers who hope he cannot run his horses in New York or Kentucky--- because he is just such a good trainer.

Baffert is scheduled for a hearing before the Kentucky state stewards on Monday.
