Baffert's fight to be allowed to race horses at Churchill in the Spring (including in the Derby) continues this week with Bob testifying. It will be interesting to see what happens here. If he doesn't prevail his horses need to transfer to other trainers by 2/28 to be eligible to get points to ultimately start in the Derby.
Bob Baffert will make his case on why Churchill Downs' suspension of him should go away.

I agree! The issue will be if he is able to show a decline in wages and loss of horses.

I don’t think things are in his favor. 1. CDI is a private business which means they can do what they want.(which should be changed somehow)2. With his big owners still supporting and giving him horses, I don’t think he’ll be able to prove he’s wanting or needs money to live on?

But of horses are transferred to other trainers and win qualifying races, or the Derby that is loss of revenue by Bob. Also Some of his best owners are giving some horses to other trainers. SF Racing et al have some horses with Tim Yakteen already. Myracehorse isn't putting horses with him at this time, and there are a few others.

I mean, why do this now and delay everything again?? And wouldn’t something like this have been brought up in other cases during her term hearing cases in the TB industry?
