I love the 2 year old races and trying to find ones who will go on to the top of the 3 year old races.
Wide Open Alcibiades Tops Keeneland's Opening Day
As the Keeneland fall meets gets underway Oct. 8, the 2-year-old stakes competition continues to ramp up. Scheduled for opening day is the $400,000 Alcibiades Stakes (G1), which drew a wide open field of 12 juvenile fillies set to race 1 1/16 miles.

Special Reserve, Endorsed Rise Again in Phoenix
Though known for training turf horses, Mike Maker has a pair of formidable ex-claimers in Endorsed and Special Reserve vying in a dirt sprint in the $250,000 Stoll Keenon Ogden Phoenix Stakes (G2) at Keeneland Oct. 8.

Golden Pal has to be persuaded to move more at top of stretch in race to win. Impressed his re-engagement and spurt again! JV shows him the whip, then uses it to win the race. Thinking he didn’t like being next to a horse since he’s usually way out in front of field!!
