 New arrival at the barn of Melanie Giddings, a  two year old filly with the name of Mel's Baby Sister - She is in the barn where Maple Leaf Mel resided!!! I think this is just wonderful- Mel's Baby Sister is not related to Maple Leaf Mel, but she looks a lot like her!!!

Still hard for them to look at that stall and not choke up. Hoping God keeps his arm around them as they get through this grieving period.

I know I am still upset about Maple Leaf Mel so I cannot imagine how difficult it is for Melanie to go by that stall and not see her sweet horse, that she loved, not there.
