Churchill Downs opens tonight , you can watch on FanDuel Racing( old tvg2), their FanDuel+ app, or Fox Sports 1 ( if they don’t drop coverage as usual…) Races start at 6pm
And, apparently, FanDuel is not showing the Derby works on TV, only on their FanDuel+ app, which is a bummer. But I’m sure they’ll replay the works throughout the day. You can also find them on TVG Twitter.

Thank you for this info. Now I won't have to rush to figure it out this evening; just programmed Fox 1. So difficult to keep up with the big races and some other things during the season.

Don't get me started. Ping ponged from FS1 to 2 and back again and finally on 2. I kept the NYRA site up in case everything was dumped. Just happened to see that it was on the other channel for maybe a half hr or more, then back again. This is not at all unusual for Fox. I just really wanted to see the first night of CD. Had to program more Directv to get everything recorded. Will be worse when the KY Derby is on major network and they don't cover other races. And ignore some post parades in favor of fluff pieces for superficial viewers. We really are step children compared to many sports these days.
Well, except for viewing some races again, am done for tonight.

My programming has to be checked everyday as it won’t always record both stations, I failed to check on that last switch….. not looking forward to when they are the only ones showing the Belmont series, hoping FanDuel will be allowed to carry it like they do Aqueduct.
Fox is my back up as with Dish I have both FanDuel channels- thank goodness!

It should not be such an ordeal to watch a race at any of the tracks--- I am puzzled as to why there is such a problem- for example, am I right in thinking that FanDuel cannot show Churchill at this time? I found it on FS2 last night--

We may see another scratch in the Derby, Lord Miles, due to his trainers horses dying this past week.
