So far Lord Miles still entered but his trainer has scratched runners from today and tomorrow .
Trainer Saffie Joseph Jr. has requested his horses be scratched through Friday, according to Kristin Voskuhl, a spokesperson for the Public Protection Cabinet, which oversees the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission. I was pretty shocked about his indefinite suspension
The deaths of these horses has given Joe Drape and others something to write about as well as the Washington Post. It is really unfortunate this is occurring at this time with the Derby coming right up.
I trust they are doing everything possible to insure the track itself is safe as well as looking into the spate of deaths and possible causes.
I am also worried about the track itself. Don't know if you saw a video that shows Forte stumbing on the dirt track while galloping around the track.
