As most of you know we rescued mares, foals and pregnant mares from the Beltex slaughter feedlot last June. Here are a few pics of horses still available and those that have been adopted. Let me know if you see one that you would like to adopt! Thank you to all the FOB's that supported this rescue. Without you these beautiful horses would have been sent on a grueling ride to a horrible death in Mexico.

Lynn/Austin, Texas

This is Chester bugging his new big brother. Chester was adopted by a wonderful family in Houston!

This is Macy and her newborn baby. She was adopted by a loving family

I remember this rescue well. I was so proud to have had a very small part in it.  God bless you all. The mares and foals are beauties.

Thanks Shirley, Margie and Joanne. These gals and babies would not be in happy homes and fosters if it had not been for the FOB's!

I'm glad to have had a small part in this rescue too. You've done a fabulous job in first saving them and then finding so many adoptive homes. Oh, if I only had a bigger barn...!!
