Here is a great article about the great Seattle Slew and his trainer, Billy Turner. I feel bad that Billy is not here on the 45th anniversary of Seattle Slew's Belmont (and Triple Crown win). I believe Billy Turner was a great trainer. I read an article a while back (wish I had saved it), where he said there are so many horses out there with talent, with trainers that don't know how to maximize that talent.

Corniche Records First Breeze Since Joining Pletcher
Last year's champion 2-year-old male, Corniche, recorded his first workout since his move into the barn of Hall of Fame trainer Todd Pletcher, covering three furlongs on the Belmont Park training track June 10 in :39.
