I was thinking driving in to work that I would still take Sea the Stars in a race like the Arc.........and now they are saying the Arc IS a possibility--good!!

Teddy Grimthorpe tells our reporter that the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe is "a possibility" for Frankel.

Frankel's official winning time was 2mins06.59 secs. His quickest furlong was the 10th of the 12, which he covered in 11.05 secs.

I just can't help thinking of that very thing - how very, very proud Bobby would've been of his namesake!!

there is discussion about the Arc now......

Grimthorpe on  cont'd: "There will be a discussion and we'll have to see."

Lord Grimthorpe on  and the Arc: "He's not in there. Henry didn't want him in the race and he'd have to supplemented."

Seeing the bad news about career-ending injuries for Bodemeister and Hansen, I really needed this wonderful news about the world's best horse today.  We need to talk to Euro trainers and breeders about how to keep these babies strong and healthy.

FRANKEL !!!!!

"It is unbelievable," Queally told Racing Post. "It was special today as everybody really got behind him and the Yorkshire crowd really appreciated him being here. Going that quick a pace helped as there was no funny business — it was end-to-end we were racing. and the best horse won, and he won comprehensively.

"He was relaxed all the way, he was really in a rhythm, and that is important. None of us had any worry about the trip, but you can't get complacent."

Absolutely!  Strange how things seem to work out - one leaves us, then the other one takes over...
