I was very lucky - I turned on the TV and was going to finish watching something I had recorded last night and saw International Racing had recorded and then I remember Frankel was running so I watched first.  Also saw Thought Worthy ? - a Dynakid win!

Just incredible! There are no more words to decribe him, they have already been said........I'm sure the jock wouldn't have had to shake the reins if Frankel was able to see the horses behind him when the jock did...this boy knows when and how to put the pedal to the metal............

It is always the killer acceleration at the 2 furlong pole that does the opposition. He accelerates by lengthening and he can maintain the gallop. Those long strides like Usain Bolt. Nelly is the same of course. Before the race they compared some other "greats" and there were no others that had that long stride. In fact some were quite scratchy movers. Montjeu and Mill Reef for instance were quick striders.  I don't think he has gone left-handed before either, but he is so beautifully balanced it makes no difference to him.
