Brian Lynch suspended/fined after a horse on may 16 tested positive. I wish they would moved faster on these suspensions!

They cannot move any quicker. 5 to 6 months is the normal.
Timeline for test:
Horse runs blood pulled
blood sent for test
results sent back (about 2 weeks)
Trainer notified of positive result.
Trainer then has a week or 2 to decide if he wants to send in the split sample for testing
Split sample sent in
tested (these do not take precedent so slower results)
split sample results sent back
Racetrack holds a hearing
unfortunately it takes this long.
