Why? He has been in Australia and has been training and racing for the past year. He didn’t just ship over last week.

You can’t scan every horse. It needs to be reserved for those that are experiencing issues that you can’t find a reason for.
These breakdowns are not always because of any underlying issue, sometimes it is a bad step or an unseen issue in the track surface.

Golden Pal Considered for Late 2022 Trip to Australia
Trainer Wesley Ward confirmed a report from RSN that star American turf sprinter Golden Pal is under consideration for a trip to Australia, though such an excursion wouldn't happen until late 2022 at the earliest, the trainer said.
