Her jock looked to be off balance out of the gate, perhaps he was starting to lose his stirrup?  He was urging her at top of stretch and didn’t seem to use the whip, which is good, she did seem to get involved when she saw the others in front of her. I did notice her “higher” leg action, but can’t remember if she had run on turf before.

Cacahuete has been scratched from today's race at Indiana Grand-- Looks like lots of horses are scratched from this race

He was scratched cause it was taken off turf.

So much rain today, everywhere!  Amazed at the numbers of scratches throughout the east today.

Upcoming entries:

Nov 12, Laurel:  Race 5 - Mama Dune (Nic)

Nov 14, CD:  Race 1 - Lngtermrelationshp (Nic)

Mama Dune and others scratched---i presume it is due to rain?

Probably so.  Some of the Laurel races have quite a few scratches today and some have held most of their entries.  I didn't notice that there were any turf races carded for today.  Continued rainy conditions almost everywhere.

Mama Dune was scratched by the stewards. If you check on Equibase on scratches  and changes, it will tell you the reason of scratch before the race starts.

They put the scratches in first thing in morning, but don’t give the actual reason until later before the race starts.

Well, that explains why the reason was a diff. font added later.
