Mama Dune and others scratched---i presume it is due to rain?

Probably so.  Some of the Laurel races have quite a few scratches today and some have held most of their entries.  I didn't notice that there were any turf races carded for today.  Continued rainy conditions almost everywhere.

Mama Dune was scratched by the stewards. If you check on Equibase on scratches  and changes, it will tell you the reason of scratch before the race starts.

They put the scratches in first thing in morning, but don’t give the actual reason until later before the race starts.

Well, that explains why the reason was a diff. font added later.

Yes they always put unavailable but changes when they receive reason.

Just checked and a new Lentenor has been added to Equibase.  He is the gelding  All Lanes Open and is out of June's Best by the ill-fated Eavesdropper.  Born in 2019.
