Princess Lenny finished 5th today, but was vanned off after the race.  Chart said she stopped badly. I haven’t watched the race yet, will do so in a bit.

the jerky trainer has run her every 2weeks to every week the last month:(

Prayers being send up for Princess Lenny.  Altho I saw the notification, hadn't read the notes yet.  Fan Duel was not covering Belterra today;   they had a number of other tracks they were watching.  So, I didn't get to see the race.  Please let us know what happened to sweet Lenny when you have a chance to view the race.  Anything you can find out would be appreciated.

I was concerned that Douglass was running her excessively when he ran her with a week between races June/July and then constantly in Sept.  She deserves better.

And prayers for all people and animals involved in this dreadful hurricane now in FL.  When I hear storm surge I think back to Katrina and all the heartbreak associated with that period of time.

She was running okay crossing the wire, high leg action, but she did run with her head high the whole race, so maybe some discomfort while running? Praying she’s okay, but can’t find out anything on Twitter on her. Unfortunately, will have to wait to see if she has a workout in the future to know if she’s able to run.:(

BTW, Fan Duel Racing ( old TVG2) carried the race- the good thing about Dish is it Carrie’s both stations.

prayers for those in Florida too!

unfortunately at Parx today, race 8, a horse fell on the lead and chart said it had to be euthanized. :( still waiting to hear how the jock is…..

A bad day for racing

Talk about a trainer running a horse too frequently at Belterra:  Cacahuete has run twice a month in May, July, August, and Sept.  Only once in June.  He happened to come 2nd today in an $8,000 claimer.  Trainer:  Esquivel

Yes and he wasn’t claimed.

Seany P finished 3rd today at Delaware

Cacahuete didn’t fare so well, and usually doesn’t at Turfway. He was claimed today, so I wonder if his trainer will try to claim him back?

He has such an uneven race record, but sure has garnered a number of firsts thru the years.  Did you notice that the new owners have the same last name as the former owner of Calumet?  Kwiatkowski.  Doubt that there is any relationship, but you never know.

I didn’t notice, but they could still be involved in racing??
