Laurel moves it’s Stakes races to the following week due to the incoming hurricane this weekend, they’ll still run their regular races weather permitting;

SO glad they did the right thing!
The Maryland Jockey Club canceled the special nine-race Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday program (Jan. 21) at Laurel Park due to severe winter weather conditions.

We are supposed to get 4-6 inches of snow tomorrow and then temps plunge on Friday 14 below zero! :(

Aqueduct canceled today, I’m sure they’ll cancel more as they get the cold weather we’re going to get this next week.:(
