Agree completely.  And the track itself has a lot of blame for this horse's suffering.  I noticed that Broberg's name came up in the article and I have always been concerned about him.

We will see if any of this helps!

I’m glad they are seeking answers/help, but they need conscientious vets to do exams on pre entires. Doesn’t Arizona have an Equine Management School? Perhaps they can run a program as assistants to help said vets in exams and reviewing using existing students taking the notes of the vet and submitting to those reviewing them?

https://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/articles/257709/dwc-stewards-fine-dettori-report-lameness-in-pinehurst

This article reference's that the jockey reported that Pinehurst was exhibiting lameness during the race, which is why he was pulled up. I hope he will be ok.

Pinehurst owner is stating on Twitter he is ok. I know he is getting 30 days rest in Lexington and I am sure they will look him over head to toe.

I wonder if Flavian just meant he wasn’t handling/ traveling over the surface rather than actually running lame?
