Rhein Sentenced to Three Years in Prison in Doping Case

Suspended veterinarian Dr. Kristian Rhein was sentenced Jan. 5 to a three-year prison term for his role in a racehorse doping scheme with other individuals that involved racehorses trained by Jason Servis.

If he is arrogant enough to go to trial and he loses, what are the sentencing guidelines?

I ask because he may figure it is worth it to take a chance of being acquitted

Kegley Sentenced to 30 Months in Horse Doping Case

Michael Kegley Jr., among a large group of individuals indicted almost two years ago for wrongfully peddling or utilizing performance enhancing drugs in the Thoroughbred racing industry, was sentenced Jan. 6 to 30 months in prison.
