Just coming to post this. From the article I find this portion interesting. All these people will not be able to work because I am sure that no track will allow them to participate in racing until the trial is over.
The agency raised the possibility that horses raced in violation of state rules and laws could also face disqualification from any race and loss of purses awarded. Those sanctions would impact owners
the owners could be hit hard and forced to forfeit Purse money.

Well name of the game and if you don’t really know what’s done at the barn, is partly their fault? I do feel bad for the backstretch workers though.:(

Yes I wish owners were a little bit more hands on and questioned the trainers about vet bills etc more.

But you know, some big business people(owners) aren’t always on the up and up in business dealings....

Well, they cheated. They should probably lose the championship.
I think Maximum Security just might one day be remembered and maybe hold a special place in people's hearts for his role in cleaning up the sport. Not that he had a choice in any of this but the horse was a victim and the perpetrators got caught. Max is just lucky he wasn't injured or worse. I hope he remains healthy.

That will be a sweet reward for the honest trainers who knew they had lost to cheaters but couldn't do anything.

Fingers crossed he stays healthy and lives a long life!
this is TVG’s benign statement on the matter
