No it's not unfortunately, but that is horseracing at times. I am sure they will retire OOA now.

Breeders' Cup Pre-Entries See Record Overseas Support
Led by multiple grade 1 winners Knicks Go and Essential Quality in the Breeders' Cup Classic (G1), a total of 196 horses have been pre-entered for the 2021 Breeders' Cup World Championships Nov. 5-6 at Del Mar.

California Angel Leads Breeders' Cup Work Tab Oct. 27
Before a large group of horses breeze in the coming days for the Nov. 5-6 Breeders' Cup at Del Mar, a handful of pre-entered Breeders' Cup horses notched workouts Oct. 27, including Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1T) automatic qualifier California Angel.
