 The story of Medina Spirit is really a Cinderella story, the kind of story NBC should have told BEFORE  the race- a Derby horse purchased for 1000.00 as a yearling, and a puny 35,000.00 by his owner.  That would have made a great story- As it was, lots of people, including myself assumed MS was just another million dollar Baffert horse. Honestly, I thought MS was in the race because Baffert couldn't bear the thought of not having a Derby horse , so of course I didn't bet on him. Instead of presenting a heart warming horse story, they talked hats and hair-dos.  I love the story of this horse----
