The rest is good, unfortunately I think they brought him back too soon from the BC, and with only 2 works before this race he’s not fit enough.
If he was mine I would turn him out for 45 days. Do some hyperbaric chamber treatments during this time. Then start with training again, but lots of long gallops and not race till end of April beginning of May at the earliest.

Max Player was pulled up in his return to the races today. Bad start, Ricardo thinks he may have hit gate, then was spinning his wheels so Ricardo stopped him. He walked onto van by himself, Ricardo said it felt like his hip was cramped and couldn’t move it efficiently. This was told on Fox by Paul Lo Duca who is at Oaklawn.

Congratulations to Confidence Game! I really think Reincarnate was the best runner in the race pinched back at the start and again in the final stretch yet kept going to finish 3rd.
Confidence Game may have fooled the betting public, surprising at 18-1 odds in the $1 million Rebel Stakes (G2) at Oaklawn Park Feb. 25, but nothing appeared fraudulent about his performance.
