Maynard Bertrolet   General Discussion

I am sorry to report the passing of a long time member, and recent Honorary member Maynard Bertrolet. He passed in early August after a long illness. Maynard loved Jolson, (as well as Mario Lanza) and was very active in the Society. He was one of the core people in the Philadelphia area, and he had an huge record collection as well. He will be sorely missed. Rest in Peace.

Sorry to hear of the passing of member Maynard Bertrolet. I never met Maynard but it's always sad to hear of a Jolson enthusiast passing. May he R.I.P.

Jan:

I knew Maynard and am so sorry to hear about his passing. He had many varied interests, ranging from Jolson to the Lizzie Borden case to amassing the complete works of Norman Brooks, among other esoteric areas.

Sad to hear the news.
