Back in the day there was, of course, the Twist. King of them all. InĀ  notable history there was the Cool Jerk, the Funky Monkey, The Crocodile Rock, the Hully Gully , the Locomotion. The Bristle Stomp. Jump Up. Forgive me if I spelled any of these wrong. They were not a part of my life style.

All these singers are either deceased or retired now.

Well the Jump Up has certainly changed since the 60's. I was thinking about the Caribbean craze. Was it Jamaican?

Yes, Jamaican. You can find an example of it demonstrated in the James Bond movie "Doctor No".
