Compared to say 10% approval for the Senate?

Considering about 50% of the people didn't vote for Trump in the first place, 50% would be the highest I would expect. So 36% of the people means 72% of the Republicans.

We need to give Washington DC a huge dose of a laxative.

Polls rely on carefully crafted questions to achieve their desired conclusion. Pollsters also carefully choose their targets for their surveys. For instance,if one wanted to "prove" that most people approve of a liberal agenda, Neighborhoods around Colleges and Universities would produce favorable results,as a working class neighborhood would not likely conform. I have been called for these polls and after answering a few questions, they said that I did not fit their "demographic". I pay little attention to polls,orĀ "science" reached through consensus.
