Capitol rioter seen carrying off Nancy Pelosi's lectern in viral image arrested

Florida authorities say they've arrested one of the alleged Capitol rioters Friday night who was seen in a viral photograph carrying Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s lectern through the halls.

Adam Johnson, 36, of Parrish, Florida, is being held in Pinellas County Jail and pending charges after federal marshalls picked him up, according to arrest records.

Johnson is allegedly the man in the photo taken during Wednesday's raid of the U.S. Capitol by Donald Trump's supporters where he is waving to the camera while holding the lectern in his right arm, according to investigators. Johnson, who was clean shaven in his mugshot, appeared in the photo with a beard and a wool hat with "Trump" written on the top.

He looks so much happier in his photo while wearing the beard and cap, and carrying the lectern.

Not nearly as happy when posing for his criminal mug shot.

Karma has been very busy these last couple of days, and Schadenfreude's stock is rising.

Karma also has quite a sense of humor.  The rioter who was trampled to death was carrying a flag that said "Don't Tread On Me"

Trump Supporter Was Carrying a 'Don't Tread on Me' Flag Before Being Trampled to Death at US Capitol

A Georgia woman was seen holding a Revolutionary War-era flag that read, "Don't tread on me" before being crushed to death by rioters at the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday.

Wednesday's attack on the U.S. Capitol by President Donald Trump's supporters resulted in five deaths, including a woman who died in a crowd stampeding that took place during the breach. Ironically, she was carrying a "Don't Tread on Me" a Revolutionary War-era flag.

The other casualties included two men and one woman, also Trump supporters, and one Capitol police officer. Air Force veteran Ashli Babbit was shot and killed by a police officer at the Capitol when she tried to enter the House chamber. The other rioters who lost their lives were later identified as Rosanne Boyland, Benjamin Phillips and Kevin Greeson, who accidentally tasered himself triggering a heart attack.

82 arrested so far in connection with the pro-Trump Capitol mob

As of Thursday night, 82 people have been arrested in connection with the violent mob that overran the Capitol.

The most common charge was for violating the curfew imposed by Washington Mayor Muriel Bowser, which took effect at 6 p.m. ET on Wednesday. More than 60 people have been arrested on suspicion of curfew violations.

Another 37 were arrested on suspicion of unlawful entry. Others were charged with assault, property damage and an assortment of gun charges. Many were charged with more than one offense.

Kevin Greeson, who accidentally tasered himself triggering a heart attack.

Ah ... partial confirmation of the bizarre rumour I heard. He supposedly tazered himself in the balls while attempting to steal a painting.
