I just posted this one in the Live Story, but I have to make sure you all see this.
Holy moly what a press conference we just had here at Pluto central. Alan Stern unleashed his science officers with new images and new science, and the first to drop were the highest resolution color pics of Pluto and Charon yet. Each shows some pretty cool stuff.

New Horizons has obtained impressive new images of Pluto and its large moon Charon that highlight their compositional diversity. These are not actual color images of Pluto and Charon-they are shown here in exaggerated colors that make it easy to note the differences in surface material and features on each planetary body.
