You really need quite a strong stomach to watch this! Almost all the 30,000 Palestinians who used to live in the centre of Hebron have been ethnically cleansed by various forms of pogrom on them.

As best I know, Efrat continues to live there, protected by soldiers who have nearly complete impunity to shoot and kill westerners (think James Miller, Rachel Corrie, Tom Hurndall, Iain Hook, Furkan Dogan, Major Kruender and others) and regularly massacre Palestinians.

Those are most certainly not the borders claimed by Israel in its Declaration of Independence (and in the letter from Epstein to Truman, requesting recognition of the new state).

They are not the borders very reluctantly accepted by all the neighbours in May 1949.
