If you want to know how the Brit shit establishment felt about ordinary "salt-of-the-earth"  people then watch the movie: "The incredible journey of Mary Bryant ".

She was sent to Australia in a convict ship.  Later, she escaped to Dutch territory.  Brit sailors captured her and her fellow escapees and 2 children.  They were shipped back to Britain.   En route, one child died due to awful conditions.

Mysteriously, descendant of convicts fought for unGreatful Britain in WW1 plus WW2.

If the joke involves sheeps then its probably known already.

When my son was about 8, I wound him up by printing a customized certificate saying he was the blacksheep of the family.

It sickenizes me when people say "mate" without considering its meaning.
