Jennifer has several basic problems:
1. illiterate, or simply posts sources she has not actually read or understood.
2. Decides what she believes and only reads enough to support here preconcieved notions.
3. Does not realize that unless one knows how the numbers are generated, as in this case, raw data is meaningless.
4. Follows the Trump school that goes like this: a. Trump discoveers something he did not know. b. assumes others are as dumb as he is and don´t know either, c. shows his "superiority" (not) by opening with something like "most people don´t kow this but (then pontificats)" ànd gets it wrong.
Here is how it works for Jennifer. Most people, including my self and her woud not expect Belgium to rank high on a scale of virus cases. So when she scans the news is surprised by a headline such as "per pop Belgium worst". If that was literally true in context that would be interesting news, so withoug checking the facts she publishes it patting herself on the back saying "what a good girl am I." Actually makeing a fool of herself by recycling simply a headline that is logicly incorrect.
In this case there are some other factors which the statistics don´t show such as Belgium´s denser population compared to say the U.S. The urban lay out of Belgian cities and street life, social interaction is very different then the U.S. where most probably don´t even know the names of their neighbors two doors away where in my experience Dutch and Belgians could probably name all the people on the block both sides of the street.
OT joke, Brits and Americans often keep their curtains closed at night but in the Netherlands and Belgium, if you go out for a stroll, you can watch an entire TV program looking in front windows without losing the context.

You've de-railed the thoughtful and interesting things RGoss has posted here.

Only you would consider Goss' hateful abuse of me "thoughtful and interesting".

Qute diversion to avoid my valid on topic crit of your post. Sort of a Trump like invention such as Obamagate.

You're very clearly abusing Goss.
I'm not aware of him doing it to you - and you undoubtedly started it.

Criticizine your false trivia is neither hateful nor abuse, it is the reason for a forum.
The term "forum" refers to a literal place where speech is free and uncensored. In England, Hyde Park Corner. However in your imaginary forum, you are playing the rold of an agent of the British secret service, taking notes and punishing those whose free speech does not agree with you. As judge, witness and jury you not only have no publish standards, but don´t even live up to your own imaginary rules.

I disagree that this applies here.
Ideally free and uncensored speech would be perfect, but it can only work if people play by the rules.
I have the right to set these rules on my forum, as it is a private enterprise.
This is not a democracy - even though I have given people plenty of say in how I run things.
Every change you demand that suits you, runs the risk of bothering others.
Yes, this forum is a public place. However, so is a shopping centre. There are rules. No skateboarding, no bikes, wear clothes.
I have the right to post rules at the door to my forum.
You can obey the rules, or leave.

Of course it does not apply here because your interpretation and roll make it not a fórum. But thanks for listing your rules, all of which you break yourselves, which is why most justice systems separate the role of judges, juries, witnesses, and enforcers, where you combine them in yourslef. Are you familiar with the word "recusal".
