We did not have riots when the Castillo shooting happened (another cop-unarmed black man tragedy), but peaceful and heartfelt demonstrations, featuring Black Lives Matter.
Did they get justice? No they didn't.
After five days and more than 25 hours of deliberation, the 12-member jury decided that the state had not met its burden for a conviction.
Legacy ... Castile, a school cafeteria worker, frequently paid for lunches for students who owed money or could not afford to pay. Inspired by this example, the Philando Castile Relief Foundation was created. The charity focuses on paying school lunch debts and addressing gun violence in the Minneapolis area. ... The inaugural $5,000 award was given to Marques Watson in 2017. (Wacky)
What will it take for the persecuted blacks of the US to get this genocide stopped, and justice against the persecutors?
Big riots with buildings torched?
Jenifer (Zarknorph) said: A black CNN journalist has been arrested while reporting live on air by several white police officers in riot-torn Minneapolis as he showed a protester being detained.
He was only detained for an hour or so, not arrested. *They said that they had to establish proof that he was a journalist, even though he had his credential badge hanging quite evident. His crew was mostly of people of color, but the other CNN crew that consisted of a white team, were treated most politely by the police, even though they were filming the same kinds of things.

Meanwhile, stay on topic please, this is a current event, happening in real live time NOW! I have been watching the burning and fires in the neighborhoods, right here, right now, on this actual night, and for the past few days.
We are having enough angst, and current fear for our city and the peaceful people who reside there, and don't need you bringing up past horrors at the moment.
An innocent man is dead (I presume innocence) , the officer has been charged with 3rd degree Murder (I have no idea what that is) .
The rioting will not bring back Floyd , it will not stop criminals shooting at the police and it wont stop the isolated killing of an innocent man .
Unfortunately the Police likes all armies in a war they have demonized elements within their community.
Sadly this will not end as we all know
Well, not exactly "innocent", he had some troubles in his home town of Houston TX, but was reforming his life, here in MN. His alleged crime was to buy a pack of cigs with a fake $20 bill. Who knows if he even knew it was counterfeit? The clerk did his/her job, and called police, and he died for it.
That poor clerk must feel awful about the terrible outcome.
